The 36th annual Bellmore Family Street Festival is just around the corner. It was postponed last week due and inclement weather forecast. That being said, the carnival portion of the fair was still open on Thursday and Friday last week.

Menswear designer John Bartlett held another pet adoption event at his namesake store at Charles and 7th Ave. South on April 17. In conjunction with North Shore Animal League America, Bartlett hosted the event with hundreds of pet lovers stopping by to ooh and awww -- and to even give some of the cute dogs and cats new, loving homes. more
