The Robert W. Carbonaro School hosted its annual Spring Fling on May 14. Spring Fling is a unique event developed by physical education teacher Faye Egre for students in grades 3-6.
Children demonstrate a variety of skills and activities which were developed in physical education class. What makes this event different from a regular field day competition is that parents are given the opportunity to participate alongside their children. There were four activities — prisoner ball, shark tag, a tug-of-war and relay races. The morning concluded with every student, parent and teacher participating in four line dances.
