Here's why Paw It Forward needs a helping paw this summer

Posted

The hometown non-profit pet pantry, Paw It Forward, is in dire need of pet supplies and volunteers, according to its founder Danielle Scala-Nathan. The pantry’s inventory has hit its lowest point in years, noted Scala-Nathan. Its usual local government and private benefactors have been scrimping on contributions, likely in response to the inflated cost of pet food, leaving its shelves bare.

Any donation or helping hand, big or small, can go a long way to helping the pantry keep supporting struggling pet owners feed their pooches.  The pantry is open for donations from June 25 to mid-September. Volunteers, both drivers and non-drivers are needed to lift bags of food, pick up and deliver food donations to the pantry, and restock the shelves.
