Hurricane Sandy has caused the cancellation of classes in the Rockville Centre, Malverne, Oceanside, West Hempstead, Lawrence, East Meadow, Island Park, Bellmore-Merrick CHS, Valley Stream, Lynbrook, and other school district, according to a notices on their district websites.
