Nassau firehouses sound the sirens for first responders and health care workers

Posted

On Tuesday, April at 7 p.m., Nassau County fire departments will be sounding the sirens from all the firehouses to salute and show appreciation for all the first responders and health care workers on the frontlines in the battle against the coronavirus pandemic.

Both Long Island counties and New York City have the largest number of Clvid-19 cases in the country.

Everyone is encouraged to be at the front of their home and show your support by applauding and cheering.
