The polls are open for the highly contested 3rd Congressional District special election between the Republican’s choice Mazi Pilip and Tom Suozzi, who is running on the Democrats ticket. They will remain open until 9 p.m. on Tuesday.

Voters need not let the snowstorm stop them from traveling to the polls because both parties are offering free rides.

The Suozzi team is requesting voters fill out a form they will find at SuozziForCongress2024.com/vote or call (646) 770-3557. They guarantee that someone will connect with the voter and drive them to their polling place.

Pilip’s team is also offering an avenue for a free ride to the polls. They recommend voters visit maziforny.com or call (516)662-4633. Rides will be arranged for travel to polling places.

The election is expected to be close and every vote counts. Both candidates are hoping voters will brave the storm and make their voice heard.
