Mostly Cloudy Memorial Day in Malverne

As is the annual tradition, Malverne marked Memorial Day on Monday with a community parade that began with a solemn ceremony remembering America’s war dead at the Reese Park gazebo by Malverne Village Hall.
The procession was led, as always, by veterans, including members of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Jewish War Veterans. Also taking part in the parade were the Malverne Fire Department, Daisies, Brownies, Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Little Leaguers.
