Before the students at Oceanside High School got ready to throw their caps high into the air at their graduation, kids in the district's elementary schools were already celebrating.
On June 23, the district's elementary schools all held their Moving Up Ceremonies, celebrating the sixth graders advancing to middle school.
Different speakers came to the different ceremonies, including Board of Education members and superintendents.
It was a way for the students to say goodbye to their elementary schools, and for the principals and teachers to say goodbye to the students.
