Town of Hempstead extends beach and pool hours amid heatwave

In response to soaring temperatures expected to surpass 90 degrees, Hempstead Town has announced extended hours for its beaches and pools through June 26th. Beaches will remain open until 7 PM and pools until 8 PM, providing residents with additional time to cool off during the heatwave.

Town Supervisor Don Clavin is available for interviews on Tuesday, June 25th, and Wednesday, June 26th.
