November marked the beginning of the extracurricular clubs program at Gotham Avenue School in Elmont for the 2023-24 school year.

Students got to explore their different interests throughout the 26 clubs offered in the first 12-week session of the program.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to discover their passions and form new connections,” said Assistant Principal Robert Cavaliere.

Model United Nations, science research, Lego robotics and drone club were some of the staple clubs offered at the school. Kids also got to participate in several newly established clubs such as Latin dance club, coding club, cr4ochet club, the art of origami club and chess club.

“The vibrant tapestry of Gotham Avenue’s extracurricular clubs allows us to continue to educate the whole child,” Cavaliere said.
