Youthful energy helped to make Kulanu Center for Special Services’ fourth annual Young Leadership Division Summer Event a success as 130 people attended on Aug. 7.

The Cedarhurst-based organization that serves children with special needs and their families held a “Night at the Beach” at the Sunny Atlantic Beach Club Boardwalk Café.

Festivities included music from Azamra DJ and accompaniment by live drums, a Glatt kosher barbecue, frozen vodka drinks, beer and raffles highlighted by items such as a $1,500 diamond necklace, a famous make baby stroller, other chic jewelry, baseball tickets, electronic devices and more.
