Celebrating its centennial year, being named “Club of the Year” and now The Woodmere Club hosted the 62nd annual Metropolitan Golf Association (MGA) Father and Son championship on Aug. 13.
The father and son duo of Pravin and John Singh from Kutshers Country Club finished on top of the leader board. Fred and Taylor Heath representing the Rockaway Hunting Club tied for 17th with two other father and son pairings.
Anthony and Spencer Tichner finished in a six-way tie for 25th on their home course. Woodmere Club members Jeffrey and Jim Cowell were tied for 31st with seven other golfing pairs. Tommy and Matthew Thomas of the Inwood Country Club and Harry and Adam Russell of the Woodmere Club tied for 70th with one other pairing.
