Hewlett-Woodmere Superintendent Ralph Marino Jr. visited the schools in his new district throughout the morning on Sept. 3, beginning with Hewlett Elementary School on the first day of school. New Hewlett Elementary Principal Chris Uccellini and School PTA co-presidents Yancy Galllego and Michelle Maiorano were also on hand as the students met their teachers and got reacquainted with their peers as the entire school gathered in the field behind the building prior to heading inside.
