Charles Falk of Woodmere died on May 28 at South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside. He was 81.

Falk was born in Far Rockaway and graduated from the University of Maryland. Through the last decade of his life, he owned and ran Chic Falk Foods, a business where he delivered after dinner mints, sandwiches, pretzels and other snacks to various country clubs and bars.

According to his son Jeffrey, Falk was married to his wife Iris for 54 years, was an avid golfer at the Lawrence Club and was very handy. “He was a man that never quit no matter what he was faced with,” Jeffrey said.
