Students, teacher and parents from the Number Two School displayed their pride as they marched in the Homecoming parade.

Homecoming was once again a happy one for Lawrence as sun shone down on parade participants and watchers before the football team defeated Conference III rival Hewlett, 36-20, last Saturday.
The parade began at the Lawrence train station and proceeded onto Central Avenue then to Washington Avenue to Peninsula Boulevard and ended at the high school. High School Assistant Principal Roseann Epps served as the parade’s grand marshal.
