A Few Clouds Firefighters on parade in the Five Towns

The annual 3rd Battalion fire department parade was hosted by the Lawrence-Cedarhurst Fire Department this year and took place on Aug. 3.
Marchers stepped off at Chestnut Street and Maple Avenue in Cedarhurst and proceeded down Central Avenue. The fire departments of the 3rd Battalion include: LCFD, Hewlett, Inwood, Meadowmere Park, Woodmere and Valley Stream.
In addition to the firefighters, there were bands from the fire departments and the Comanche Raiders Long Island’s Family Band that dressed as Native Americans, along with the New York City Police Band.
