More than 30 artisans and vendors were featured at the Kiwanis Club of West Hempstead’s Holiday Elf Shoppe & Craft Fair last Sunday at Echo Park.
The free event gathered people of all ages throughout the day as residents got into the holiday spirit. The event included build-a-gift workshops, a Santa Claus letter workshop, face painting and photos with Santa. There was also a holiday raffle for various prizes. The money raised went towards children’s charities.
People also donated unwrapped gifts to bring joy for children in need throughout Long Island.
