Lights on for Education

See students’ work from all four Valley Stream school districts at the 58th annual “Lights on for Education” on April 11 at 7:15 p.m. at Memorial Junior High School.

Egg Hunt

The Village of Valley Stream will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 13 at the Arthur J. Hendrickson Park playground. The kindergarten through second-grade hunt will take place at the playground at 11 a.m, and third- and fourth-graders can hunt for eggs at the playground at 11:45 a.m.

Play retro games

Teenagers in grades 7 - 12 can kick back and play old-school video games at the Elmont Memorial Library on April 17 at 5:30 p.m. Registration is required, with preference given to Elmont library cardholders.
