Overcast Two-car crash traps three in Inwood

The Inwood Fire Department responded to a crash on Sheridan Boulevard at 12:20 p.m. that momentarily trapped three people.

Nassau County Police and the Inwood Fire Department responded to a two-car crash at the side of the Bnai Tzedukah Thrift Store at 203 Sheridan Blvd. in Inwood at 12:20 p.m.
No one was in the store at the time of the crash. Additional emergency crews stabilized the building and determined that the wall will need additional shoring.
Police said that the driver and two passengers in the back of one of the vehicles were trapped and freed by firefighters. They were taken to the hospital and their injuries are considered minor.
