The Long Island Arts Council at Freeport will be hosting their annual summer concert series starting Thursday, July 23, at 7 p.m., live on the Nautical Mile.

The concerts will be held every Thursday until Sept. 10, although the location might change depending on the weather.

The first concert will star the Banjo Rascals, who specialize in ragtime, country and rock ‘n’ roll.

While all the acts have yet to be announced, other performers scheduled to play include: Turnpike Joe and the Traffic Jam, Sparkle on Stage, Robert Bruey and East End Trio.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, all attendees must bring their own chair, stay six-feet apart from others and wear a mask.

The Arts Council will have customized face masks for sale, with all proceeds going to fund the councils programs and services.
