Seaford Schools' $70.65 million budget passes

Proposition 2 passes; Kahn and Devlin elected

The Seaford School District's $70.65 million budget passed handily on Tuesday by a margin of 1,015-404.

Proposition 2, authorizing the use of the district's capital reserve fund to replace the track and turf field at Seaford High School was approved by a vote of 989-415.

Board President Bruce Kahn, who was unopposed, was returned with 889 votes. Kevin Devlin, who ran for the seat being vacated by retiring Trustee Janice Baldwin, was also unopposed and received 945 votes.
