During the normal school year, Plaza Elementary School Principal Mark Gray usually walks from classroom to classroom greeting every student and wishing them a fun summer.
Now that school is ending and students are still distance learning, Gray will walk through every street where a student lives and throw them a Frisbee and wish them a good summer.
In an effort to bring normalcy, he will wear a suit, which students used to see him in every day. The 400 Frisbees that are being thrown to students read “#NeverApart When You Are A Part Of #PlazaStrong.”
Gray ended up walking a total of 19 miles and 37,000 steps. He will be donating his “steps” to Education Trust.
