Best Seller, Camron Wright visits Freeport Library

Posted

Several avid readers of Camron Wright gathered for a luncheon and literary discussion of his works on Sept. 13 at the Freeport Memorial Library, FML. Wright has written several novels and is most noted for “The Rent Collector” and “The Orphan Keeper.” He has also penned “The Other Side of the Bridge,” Letters for Emily,” and “Christmas by Accident.”

FML’s book clubs have read “The Rent Collector” and “The Orphan Keeper.” Last year, the library held a Skype meet and greet with local readers. According to the FML coordinator for book groups, Brid Halter, this year he was visiting New York from Salt Lake City and agreed to make a personal appearance to meet his fans.

Throughout the luncheon, Wright shared stories about the characters that inspired “The Rent Collector” and “The Orphan Keeper” and answered questions from the readers. At the end of the luncheon, Wright handed bookmarks and signed autographs.
