Brett Pollan, of Bellmore, has been named senior project manager at TripleCare, a national provider of telemedicine-based healthcare services to skilled nursing facilities.

Pollan will lead a team in implementing telemedicine for the company, overseeing technical requirements necessary for integrating TeleCare’s telemedicine with electronic health records and other technology components at facilities the company serves.

Pollan, who works in TripleCare’s Long Island City headquarters, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in business management from Rhode Island College, is a seasoned healthcare professional and project manager, according to TripleCare. He was a senior project manager at telehealth provider MDLIVE, where he managed multiple high profile and complex healthcare technology projects. He was promoted to that position from client operations analyst, a role in which he forecasted and tracked key account metrics, avaluated performance indicators and monitored potential risks.

Before this, Pollan was an area manager and regional training manager for Healthcare Services Group, which provides housekeeping, laundry, dining and nutrition services to the healthcare industry.

“My new role at TripleCare affords me the distinct opportunity to focus on creating and executing strategies that will help further enhance our processes and procedures through exceptional project management operations and initiatives in the 60-plus facilities where the company operates,” Pollan said. “Joining TripleCare as senior project manager is a perfect fit for my skill set, experience and career aspirations. I am confident that my qualifications will add value as I oversee all TripleCare’s technical capabilities across the facilities to which the company caters.”

TripleCare Chief Executive Officer Mary Jo Gorman welcomed Pollan to the team.

“We look forward to the contributions he will make to furthering TripleCare’s capabilities in connecting physicians and patients virtually, especially as the acceptance of telemedicine heightens and plays a key role in the future delivery of healthcare,” she said. “His expertise will complement our technical abilities and advances in virtually bringing physicians to patients’ bedsides where they reside, as SNFs use our services to avoid hospital admissions and readmissions.”
