Advanced Placement scholars in Malverne

Malverne High School’s top scholars has raised the bar once more, as 75 past and current students earned the designation of Advanced Placement for excelling on their 2019 A.P. exams. This is the most A.P. scholars that the Malverne School District has had to date. In addition, new this year is the A.P. capstone/seminar and research designation for students. Here are Malverne’s honorees:

A.P. capstone diploma
Halle Akaeze, Amanda Christodoulou, Savannah Fehn, Hannah Hardeo, Joshua Hillel, Agnes Kubik, Olivia Marco, Jason Mejia, Conner O’Reilly and Kyle Sajoyan.

A.P. seminar and research certificate
Jose Arias Valdez, Brianna Dorcelian, Amanda Nagasawa, Stuart Oates, Aly Tarmin, Olivia Tarmin and Christian Rodriguez.

A.P. scholars with distinction
Granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more exams.

A.P. scholars with honor
Granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all A.P. exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams.

Granted to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more A.P. exams.
