East Meadow High School honored 20 students for demonstrating exemplary character and conduct during the annual Breakfast of Champions ceremony on March 29.

Parents, teachers and administration were in attendance to recognize students that have displayed admirable character traits and positive qualities in school and the community. An East Meadow Champion is an individual who thinks of others and strives to make a positive contribution every day. Teachers nominated students that they felt best exemplified academic success, respect and positivity among their peers, school and community.

Students who were honored included Joshue Aguilar, Jessica Canales, Christian Cang Cuesta, Alexis Caruso, Matthew Columbia, Victoria Cuttone, Ashley Dacanay, Jesus Felix, Jacob Halley, Jonah Horwitz, Sabera Hossain, Ariana Kopoulos, Eric Marcal, Alani Miranda, Angela Moresky, Jaiden Natale, Matt Oberhaus, Sabeen Siddiqui, Bianca Turchiano and Alexa Sophia Wiencek.

“We are fortunate to have these students as part of our community,” said Assistant Principal Christina Egan.
