Ramey rocks Still Partners in Sea Cliff

The fall music lineup is in full swing at Still Partners in Sea Cliff. On Aug. 14, music lovers of all ages gathered in the gastropub to hear the tunes of local artist Troy Ramey, a former contestant on NBC’s “The Voice.”

Alongside the singer/guitarist on bass was fellow resident Matthew Schneider, who invited Ramey to play as a guest artist with his musical ensemble Summer String at their annual concert in July.

Ramey spoke with the Herald Gazette earlier this month in anticipation of the bar’s sweet seasonal lineup. “The best venues really care about the quality of music, and because they appreciate good music, the patrons of Partners can always count on that,” he said.

Still Partners owner Dan Roth said that while live music may not be everyone’s cup of tea — or in this case, their pint of beer — those anticipated moments before a band starts their set breeds an air of excitement. “The vibe of the place lights up on nights when we have music,” he said. “It’s just really fun.”
