A man has been arrested in connection with a robbery of T.D. Bank on Merrick Road in Rockville Centre on Sept. 28, according to village police.

Officers say that Robert Davidson, 63, 445 Yale Ave. in Rockville Centre, entered the T.D. Bank around noon and passed the bank teller a note demanding cash. The teller complied and passed him cash with a tracker attached. Davidson left on foot and was last seen walking westbound on Merrick Road. No injuries were reported.

Rockville Centre police officers, along with officers from Nassau County Police Department's Robbery Squad, followed the tracker to a nearby home and arrested Davidson at 3:50 p.m.

Davidson was charged with third-degree robbery and will be arraigned on Sept. 29 in Mineola. Officers say he was on probation for being arrested and convicted for several past robberies, including one at the same T.D. Bank in January 2014.
