Move over NCAA, Herald Community Newspapers is going LIVE this year with Nassau County’s first ever High School basketball bracket tournament called “Baller Madness”.

Baller Madness will focus on Boys High School Class A division basketball. Sixteen teams (eight games), as designated by the league, will be placed into brackets at liherald.com/contests where contestants can make their picks before each round to gain points for a chance to win a $500 Grand Prize. The contestant with the most points after the final game will win the grand prize.

“Covering local high school and youth sports are a specialty for us at Herald Community Newspapers and we’re the only ones doing it.” said Stuart Richner, president of Richner Communications, parent company to Herald Community Newspapers. “This campaign will allow us to showcase the 2019 finals, and the athletes and coaches involved, in a big and exciting way.”
