Suspects wanted in Elmont robbery

Nassau County police are searching for two men who allegedly robbed the Bolla Market on Linden Boulevard in Elmont on Dec. 25.

According to Nassau County police, the two suspects entered the store at around 8:40 a.m. on Christmas Day and grabbed four cases of beer each, before exiting the building without paying. An employee then followed the suspects out into the parking lot where they were loading the cases of beer into a GMC Yukon, police report, and one of the suspects threatened the employee by saying he had a gun. The employee then returned to the store and called 911, as the suspects fled southbound on Elmont Road.

The suspects are described as six-foot-tall black males who were about 200 pounds each. They both wore black clothing and black masks, police said.

Detectives are now asking anyone with information about this crime to call the Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 422 - TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
