A quest for the golden snitch in Franklin Square

Posted

Children had an hour to find the golden snitch and protection spell that Professor Severus Snape hid in an attempt to save Harry Potter from one of Lord Voldemort’s schemes at the Franklin Square Public Library over the February break.

They had to look everywhere in a room on the third-floor for clues that would lead them to the golden snitch and spell before the Quidditch match begins in an hour. The team that could solve the mystery the quickest would receive a prize from the library.

The room was created by Young Adult Librarian Erin Brach and Librarian Trainee Lara Brach, and some of the props were donated by library staff.
