Three people arrested in Queens on Jan. 21 are alleged to be responsible for what Nassau County police called “numerous residential burglaries” across the county, including Hewlett Harbor. A fourth person is also being sought.

Police said they were investigating multiple burglaries and developed information and cross-referenced it with several law enforcement jurisdictions across the tri-state area.

Officials said that the four are connected with group from Chile that targets wealthy communities across the country. Members fly into the United States on 90-day visas and then take the proceeds from the alleged robberies back to Chile. Three of the four in the Nassau group stayed past 90 days, officials said.

The Nassau group is alleged to have committed up to a dozen burglaries in areas such as Great Neck and Saddle Rock as well. The subsequent investigation lead police to a residence on Sixth Avenue in the College Point section of Queens, where the trio was taken into custody.

Detectives recovered jewelry, hand bags, electronic devices and clothing believed to be proceeds from the burglaries.

Additionally, multiple identifications were recovered and are believed to be aliases for the three allowing them to operate within the U. S.

Arrested were: Boneek Alexander Quintero-Baeza, 32, charged with burglary second-degree and fugitive from justice. Alexandra Ivonne Pizarro-Blanche, 23, charged with conspiracy fourth-degree and Levy Frank Maury Bruggman, also 23, charged with fugitive from justice. Nassau police said they are looking for Bryan Leandro Herrera-Maldonado, who is also allegedly involved in the burglaries.

The three were arraigned on Jan. 23 in First District Court at 99 Main Street in Hempstead. Bruggman and Quintero-Baeza are being held without bail on their fugitive warrants. Pizarro-Blanche was released without bail, but ordered to be monitored electronically.

Police said the investigation is continuing.
