Queens men charged in Lawrence and Garden City Park burglaries

Through a joint investigation, the Nassau Major Case Bureau-Burglary Pattern Team, NCPD Electronics Squad, NYPD Queens Grand Larceny Task Force, ICE and Suffolk County Auto Larceny Squad, arrested four Queens men for the alleged theft of money from vehicles in Garden City Park and Lawrence.

Police had investigated numerous larceny related cases involving victims that withdrew currency from local banks and subsequently had their vehicle broken into and their currency stolen that occurred on Jan. 11, at 2360 Jericho Tpke. in Garden City Park and March 12 at 490 Rockaway Tpke. in Lawrence at 4:20 p.m., a TD Bank.

Arrested were Oscar Corriente, 31, of 96th Street; Marco Alberto Guerra, 33, both of Queens; Sergio Castaneda-Ronderos, 20, of Curtis Street in East Elmhurst; and Diego Garzan Salamanca, 33, of Parsons Boulevard, Flushing. All four were found to have multiple warrants for their arrest from multiple agencies. All were found and arrested without incident, police said.


The four are charged with two counts of grand larceny third-degree, two counts of criminal mischief third-degree and conspiracy fifth-degree. They will all be arraigned on March 13 at First District Court in Hempstead.
