A man who allegedly illegally entered a Lawrence Avenue home in North Lawrence on June 24 is charged with forcible touching, Nassau County police said.

Norbin Mayorga, 30, also of Lawrence Avenue, entered the residence through an unlocked back bedroom window where two young siblings were sleeping, according to police. Mayorga allegedly sat on the girl’s bed and forcibly touched her. He then allegedly took out a serrated knife and said if the girl screamed he would kill her and her brother. The girl screamed and Mayorga fled through the same window, police said.

After the subsequent investigation he was arrested without incident at his home at 4:30 a.m., that same day, police said.

Mayorga is charged with burglary first-degree, criminal possession of a weapon fourth-degree, and forcible touching.

In custody, his next court date is June 30. A temporary order of protection was issued. The Legal Aid Society of Nassau County represents Mayorga.
