Lawrence Elementary School students show off their talents

There were 23 acts including 28 students who sang, danced or played a musical instrument at the second annual Lawrence Elementary School “The LES Got Talent” show in the Lawrence High School auditorium on Feb. 1.

During Act I, Valeria Via Lima sang “I Have a Dream,” Melia Joy Garcia sang “A Million Dreams,” Adrianna Rosenberg performed gymnastics to “Happier,” Erin Fishman, Hannah Guarineri, Haley Katz and Ian Fishman sang and danced to “Lollipop,” Talia Marcus crooned “I’ve Got Joy in My Heart,” and Emily Ciaccio did a standup comedy routine.

Also in Act I Mariah Silva sang “Titanium,” Claire Margaret Valenzuela sang “2002,” Mailo Rozas Catalan played a medley of songs on the saxophone, Melanie Vasquez and Angie Navidad teamed up to sing “Young Blood,” Elijah Shivers sand “The Greatest Love of All,” and Lana Krause danced to the tune “Girls Like You.”

In Act II, Briana Cifuentes sang “A Thousand Years,” Mia Isabella Bautista sang “I Have a Dream,” Addison did a gymnastics to “Mia,” Matthew Caparatta sang and danced to “Uptown Funk,” and Daniella Rosales sung “How Far I’ll Go.”

Also in Act II, Jada Folds played “Havana” on the flute, Joshua Cespedes sang “Perfect,” Elizabeth Reyes sang “8 Letters,” Steffany Guinansaca played the violin,” Ashley Estupinan crooned to “Girl On Fire,” and Nylah Haynes and Kamiyah Latore danced to “We Go To Work.”
