Hewlett High School virtual teams advance to Long Island Business Plan finals

Hewlett High School’s Virtual Enterprise program has two virtual businesses this school year and both — Comforting Canines and Natural Atmosphere Promoting Relaxation — qualified for the Long Island Business Plan finals in Holbrook on Feb. 26.

After months of dedication and hard work, both teams scored in the Top 10 for their written business plans and oral presentations, against 94 other virtual firms at  LIU Post on Jan. 9.

Comforting Canines’ presentation team included Jared Lake, Ashley Shanab, Alyssa Rotblut, Ely Assaf and Benjamin Donskoy. For NAPR, it was Jessica Taft, Liya Angel, Amit Bar-Mashiah, Adam Bourbia and Christopher Gosley. 
The National Business Plan competition takes place during the VE Youth Business Summit at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal on April 15.
