Based on reviews from audience members and the show’s director and producer, the Girls’ Talent Tour performance at the Torah Academy for Girls in Far Rockaway on Sept. 22 was a smashing success.

Women and girls came from the Five Towns, Brooklyn, Queens and Lakewood, New Jersey and several other places to watch what was called a “spectacular, entertaining show.” Girls’ Talent Tour gives women and girls a platform to show their talents and hopefully inspire others.

“The talent was so amazing I couldn’t close my eyes for even a split second because I did not want to miss anything from this show. The talent was out of this world!” was heard after the show.

The show raised money for the Chabad of the Five Towns Friendship Circle, that offers support to children, teens and adults with disabilities, and took “frum entertainment to a whole new level,” Chabad officials said. Audience members were awed by the professionalism and talent of the acts. Many said there has never been anything on this level within the Jewish community.

Chana and Rivkah Itzkowitz, a mother-daughter dance team, captured first place. Daniella Bababekov, whose voice was described as “simply beautiful” placed second and Miri Auerbach, a 10-year-old gymnast who had the audience on the edge of their seats with her perfect choreography took third. In the middle of the show, show judge Shaindel Antelis sang her new song about Jews all being one.

“Girls Talent Tour has been a dream come true experience for me, and the best part about it, is seeing women and girls use their talents to inspire others and follow their dreams,” director and producer Batya Zachter said.

The next Girls Talent Tour show is Dec. 15 at Lafayette Theater in Monsey, New Jersey. For more information, go to www.dreamontalent.com.
