Car seat safety check to be hosted in North Woodmere Park

The Nassau County Traffic Safety Board in coordination with State Assemblywoman Melissa “Missy” Miller (R-Atlantic Beach) will host a car seat safety check on Wednesday, Oct. 16 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in the North Woodmere Park pool parking lot at 750 Hungry Harbor Road in North Woodmere.

“I hope that these car seat safety checks, which make sure children are in the right seat for their age and weight, will help give parents and grandparents peace of mind when traveling,” Miller said. “It is important that we continue to work with the various agencies in our community and provide every opportunity available to keep our residents of all ages safe.” A Nassau County Traffic Safety Board representative will conduct the
