The Hewlett-Woodmere Business Association and the Town of Hempstead welcomed Tony D’s Pizza to the neighborhood with a ribbon-cutting outside the new Hewlett pizzeria on June 11. Owned by Anthony Divella and his wife, Rosemarie Divella, the recently opened pizza place is at 1751 Peninsula Blvd., in the King Kullen shopping center. The menu offers many traditional Italian dishes from the fried calamari appetizer to the classic heroes, entrees featuring Tony’s Chicken Scarpariello, pasta dishes, pizza and specialty pies.
