Sewanhaka adopts new Covid reporting system

The Sewanhaka Central High School District is changing the way parents and guardians can report positive Covid cases to the district.

Officials previously asked parents and guardians to report cases directly to their schools, but now the district is consolidating its reporting system, and all Covid-related questions, updates and concerns should be reported to Covid19@SewanhakaSchools.org and/or (516) 488 – 9891. Additionally, parents should contact their school’s attendance office to report any absences from school.

The district has also partnered with Perrotta Consulting, a threat mitigation and emergency operations planning firm to assist in contact tracing, answer any Covid-related questions and provide guidance on an individual basis.
