Breakfast with Santa at Stew Leonard’s


Come to Stew Leonard’s on Front Street in East Meadow for a holiday breakfast. Families are invited to a special holiday breakfast where they will meet both Santa and Wow the Cow. The farm-fresh menu includes French Toast Sticks, Bagels, Scrambled Eggs & Bacon, Coffee and Juice. Each child will be able to take a photo with Santa. There are times on Dec. 14 at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. and again on Dec. 15 at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.

 

James Weidman and The Aperturistic Trio


The Aperturistic Trio is comprised of master jazz pianist James Weidman, Harvie S renowned bassist, and the extraordinary drummer Alvestor Garnett. All veterans of accompanying powerful, brilliant vocalists, they come together to bring their blend of creativity and musical mastery to the instrumental format. They all play around the world and, on Dec. 15 at 2 p.m., they will be in the Art Gallery at the Samanea New York Market, the former Source Mall, in Westbury, hosted by the East Meadow Public Library. Don’t miss this dynamic afternoon of the best in jazz. 


Holiday Origami with Hiroko


Create beautiful holiday origami works of art to celebrate the Winter holidays at the East Meadow Public Library on Dec. 17 at 1 p.m. These are great as ornaments, package decorations or for your table. The holidays are about giving your love and your time so spend some quality time creating origami. Registration is a must as space is limited and could be done by calling 794-2570 ext. 560 or registering online at www.eastmeadow.info. There is a $3 materials fee for this event.
