Snowglobe Craft

Celebrate the coming of winter and make a cute snowglobe to give as a gift or keep for the holiday season at this young adult program at the East Meadow Public Library on Dec. 5 at 7 p.m. This program will take place in the Young Adult Room.

East Meadow Chamber of Commerce Holiday Lighting Ceremony

Join your neighbors to celebrate the winter holidays at the 20th annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony, presented by the East Meadow Chamber of Commerce and East Meadow Council of Community Organizations, on Dec. 5 at 6 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park “Town Square.” Come for a visit with Santa Claus and some jolly time with friends. Free Christmas Concert at Holy Trinity

The Choir of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church will present its Annual Christmas Concert at 7 p.m. on Dec. 7, featuring a program of Orthodox and Western hymns and carols. The choir will be joined by the Saint Vladimir’s Seminary Chorale and the concert will be live streamed by Ancient Faith Radio. Advent refreshments will be served after the concert. A Christmas boutique will also be held during the reception. Admission and reception are both free of charge. Vespers (evening prayer) will be held at 6:00 PM.
