East Meadow Shred Day

It's the perfect time to do some spring cleaning at Nassau Financial Credit Union's Annual Shred Day at their East Meadow branch on April 20 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Simply pack up your old paperwork that has been taking up space at your place, then bring it to 2575 Hempstead Turnpike to shred it and forget it in the shredding truck. You can even watch your paperwork being shredded by viewing the video screen of the camera that is inside the truck.

Margarita’s Café eight-Year Anniversary

Stop by Margarita’s Café in East Meadow to celebrate its eighth anniversary in the community. From 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on April 20, enjoy a party with music, friends, food and, of course, margaritas. The restaurant is located at 1868 Front Street, East Meadow.

Virtual Reality Experience

Throughout the week of spring break, the East Meadow Public Library is inviting students in for gaming and craft programs. Drop by for a virtual reality program on April 24 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. No Registration.
